Dr Cuong Nguyen is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and is trained in internal medicine at the Queen Elizabeth and Lyell McEwin Hospitals, South Australia. He underwent advanced training in Cardiology at the Launceston General and Royal Hobart Hospitals in Tasmania. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He is subspecialty trained in Interventional Cardiology at the Launceston General Hospital and Westmead Hospital, Sydney.

Dr Nguyen commenced private practice in 2010 in Sydney as a Clinical and Interventional cardiologist and was a Consultant VMO at Macquarie University Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital and the Strathfield Private Hospital. He was also appointed a Clinical Lecturer at the Australian School of Advanced Medicine, Macquarie University, NSW. His clinical interests include general adult cardiology, ischaemic heart disease and coronary intervention. Dr Nguyen performs coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention at the Calvary Adelaide Hospital. He is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
