Nightingale has regular clinics to follow up on your permanent pacemaker, implantable defibrillator or implantable loop recorder
Pacemakers are used to treat slow heart rhythms and defibrillators are used for life-threatening rapid heart rhythms. Once implanted, you will require regular follow up to monitor your device and the leads that go with it.
Preparation

No prior preparation is required.

How is it done

The follow up is performed with special programmers that communicate with your implanted device. A report about your device function will be downloaded. Changes to your device will be made based on symptoms, battery life, underlying rhythms and the device function. We also offer automated home monitoring for these devices.

Duration

30 minutes.
