Dr Jing Quah (Alvin)

Dr. Quah is a graduate of the University of Queensland, Brisbane. He completed his internal medicine training and advanced cardiology training in Queensland, including at Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital. Dr. Quah is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
In 2021, Dr. Quah pursued subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology at Flinders Medical Centre, followed by further training at Queen Elizabeth 2 Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Currently completing his PhD at Flinders University, Dr. Quah’s research focuses on optimising ablation strategies for atrial fibrillation. He has co-authored over 20 manuscripts and presented at numerous local and international cardiovascular conferences. His expertise includes complex cardiac electrophysiology procedures such as atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardias, atrial flutters, and ventricular tachycardias, as well as implantable cardiac devices like pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronisation therapies.
In addition to English, Dr. Quah is fluent in Malay, enhancing his ability to connect with a diverse patient population.
